Meilita Tryana Sembiring, born in Medan on May 03, 1970, works as a lecturer at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Graduate School at the Department of Master of Management, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Meilita is always called Meilita, pursuing studies related to Industrial Engineering and Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Data Mining, Manufacturing Systems, Design, Maintenance, and Repair of Machinery and Auxiliary Equipment. She earned her Doctorate from Institut Pertanian Bogor in 2015. She has also attended training for the Higher Education Development Support (HEDS) Project in Indonesia at Toyohashi University of Technology, Nagoya, Japan. Her primary research interest is Supply Chain Management (SCM). In one of his studies, Business Model of Palm Oil-Based Biodiesel Supply Chain Process.
