The event, themed “Building the Independence of Women Entrepreneurs in Managing Assets for Business Development,” served as a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and supporting the development of women entrepreneurs’ businesses.
Held offline, the event was attended by academics, women entrepreneurs, and students from both countries, Indonesia and Malaysia. Given the increasing role of women in business across Southeast Asia, this topic is highly relevant to fostering business development through women’s empowerment.
Prof. Dr. Elisabet Siahaan, Head of the Master’s Program in Property Management and Valuation Postgraduate School USU, expressed her hopes that this activity would serve as the starting point for creating more collaborative programs between the two nations. “We hope this program will continue to grow and become an integral part of empowering women entrepreneurs in Indonesia and Malaysia,” she said.
The success of this event further strengthens the collaborative synergy between the Master’s Program in Property Management and Valuation Postgraduate School USU, Faculty of Economics and Business USU, Universiti Teknologi MARA Prime Over Cawangan Kelantan, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia as educational institutions committed to promoting community-based economic development. This program reflects a shared dedication to fostering innovation and empowering women entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia.
This activity is expected to act as a catalyst for generating inspiration and practical solutions for women entrepreneurs, particularly in managing assets for business development. With the spirit of cross-country collaboration, this program is believed to be capable of driving more inclusive economic progress, empowering communities, and reinforcing the role of women as key drivers of future economic development.
