Medan, June 24, 2025 – The Master's Program in Management at the Postgraduate School of Universitas Sumatera Utara (MM USU) has again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening international networks by organizing the International Mobility Program to Malaysia from June 19 to 21, 2025.

Dozens of active students and accompanying faculty members from MM USU attended the program, which aimed to provide students with global exposure to understand management dynamics and business practices in ASEAN countries. This initiative is part of implementing an internationally oriented curriculum and supports the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Throughout the five-day program, participants engaged in various activities, including:

  • Academic visits to higher education institutions and companies in Malaysia,
  • Seminars with academics and practitioners from Malaysia,
  • Cultural activities at iconic landmarks such as the Putra Mosque in Putrajaya and the Petronas
  • Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.

"Through this program, students not only broaden their international perspectives but also gain firsthand insight into how strategic management and innovation are applied in a global context," said Prof. Dr. Ir. Meilita Tryana Sembiring, ST., MT., IPU, the accompanying lecturer and Head of the Master's Program in Management. One of the memorable moments was the group photo session in front of the Putra Mosque and the Petronas Towers, symbolizing the spirit of togetherness, achievement, and unforgettable experiences gained through the program.

This initiative is expected to be a stepping stone for MM USU students to compete internationally and to further strengthen Universitas Sumatera Utara’s position as a leading and globally reputable higher education institution.
