The benchmarking visit was designed to provide direct learning on the management of master's-level business education, academic development, and the strengthening of international academic networks and collaboration. Representatives from various Master of Management programs in Indonesia participated, creating an opportunity to exchange experiences, good practices, and innovative ideas.

For the Master's Program in Management at USU, the visit to Sakarya University offered international perspectives on the development of management education. The lessons gained are expected to provide input for curriculum development, teaching methods, research, and the strengthening of global perspectives among lecturers and students.

The visit also opened opportunities for further collaboration with academic institutions in Türkiye, particularly Sakarya University, including academic exchange, collaborative research, and the development of initiatives that support the internationalization of higher education.

The benchmarking activity is aligned with APMMI's objective of improving the quality of the Master's Programs in Management in Indonesia through international learning and by strengthening academic and institutional networks at the global level.
