Medan, October 5, 2026 — The Master’s Program in Property and Valuation Management (MMPP), School of Postgraduate, Universitas Sumatera Utara (SPs USU), conducted a series of activities with its faculty members as part of its strategic efforts to strengthen the quality of learning, curriculum development, and academic productivity.

The activities included:
1. Alignment of Course Syllabi with OBE and SDGs
Faculty members reviewed and aligned their Semester Learning Plans (RPS) with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach while incorporating the principles and objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This effort aims to ensure that learning outcomes remain relevant, measurable, and responsive to global challenges.
2. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Curriculum Development
The curriculum FGD provided a collaborative forum for faculty members to evaluate and further develop the curriculum to ensure its continued relevance to developments in knowledge and professional practice, as well as emerging challenges in property management and valuation.
3. Development of High-Quality Scholarly Publications
The activities also focused on enhancing faculty academic productivity by strengthening research and scholarly writing capabilities. Through collaboration and academic engagement, faculty members were encouraged to produce high-quality scientific publications with the potential to be published in reputable international journals.

This series of activities represents an important step for the MMPP Study Program at SPs USU in fostering an adaptive, collaborative, and quality-oriented academic culture. By strengthening the curriculum, improving the quality of learning, and increasing scholarly publication productivity, MMPP continues to demonstrate its commitment to producing graduates and academic works that make meaningful contributions to society and sustainable development.
