On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, The Postgraduate School was visited by the Rector, Vice Rector I, Vice Rector II, Vice Rector III, Vice Rector IV, and Vice Rector V. This meeting was in the USU Postgraduate School First Floor Meeting Room. The event was opened by remarks from the Director of the USU Postgraduate School and continued by the presentation by the Rector of the Universitas Sumatera Utara about the international class that will be conceptualized in 2023.

Institutional management problems for international classes usually exist in learning methods, learning processes, facilities, good-quality faculty for research, and curriculum. The Rector also said that research talents will be changed to make lecturers more open and to advance study programs at the Postgraduate School.

The Rector also said that there are differences between campuses on the islands of Java and Sumatra, but we will organize everything so that we can compete to raise the ranking towards a World Class University. Facilities will also be improved so that students can easily get information sources through the website. The International Class Program will be socialized by the directorate of educational development so that later international classes can be formed which greatly support the increase in the ranking of the Universitas Sumatera Utara.
