On April 26, 2018, the Master's Program in Valuation and Property Management at the Universitas Sumatera Utara (MMPP USU) conducted a roadshow at the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) of Deli Serdang Regency in Lubuk Pakam. The roadshow aimed to introduce the MMPP USU study program to the PUPR staff and discuss potential collaborations in the field of property and valuation management.
The event was attended by the Head of the Deli Serdang Regency PUPR Office, Ir. Donald Tobing, M.Si., along with his staff. Representatives from MMPP USU, including the Head of the Study Program, Prof. Dr. Siti Maysarah, S.E., M.Si., and several lecturers, were also present.
During the roadshow, the MMPP USU team gave a presentation on the study program's curriculum, research activities, and community service initiatives. They also highlighted the importance of property and valuation management in supporting regional development and infrastructure projects.
The PUPR staff actively participated in the discussion, sharing their experiences and challenges in managing public assets and infrastructure. They expressed their interest in collaborating with MMPP USU in areas such as asset valuation, spatial planning, and infrastructure development.
The roadshow concluded with both parties committing to exploring potential collaborations in the future. This event is expected to strengthen the relationship between MMPP USU and the Deli Serdang Regency PUPR Office and contribute to developing regional property and valuation management practices.
