ISO 21001: 2018 for two days, namely February 28 and March 2, 2023, with PT. QIMS INTRASINDO
SPs Public Relations - The postgraduate school of the Universitas Sumatera Utara implemented ISO 21001: 2018 for two days, namely February 28 and March 2, 2023, with PT QIMS INTRASINDO, understanding and documentation of ISO 21001: 2018 was delivered by Mr. Achmad Tarmizi Hutasuhut, ST, MM. Implementation of ISO 21001: 2018 serves for the Education Organization Management System, which is a general management tool for educational organizations in providing educational products and services so that they are able to understand the needs and requirements of students and interested parties.
The benefits of ISO 21001: 2018, namely 1. Helping to align the institution's program with the vision and mission of the educational institution, 2. Increasing social-educational responsibility that is inclusive and open to anyone, 3. Providing education according to the needs of all learners, (with special needs, distance learners, long life education), 4. Evaluation processes and tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency, 5. Increasing organizational credibility, 6. Organizational commitment to effective education management practices, 7. Harmonizing regional, national, and other standards within the framework, 8. Disseminating participation from interested parties, 9. Organizational commitment to effective education management practices
Mr. Achmad Tarmizi Hutasuhut, ST, MM, also said the ISO 21001 Structure: 2018 consists of 1. Scope, 2. Normative Reference, 3. Terms and Definitions, 4. Organizational Context, 5. Leadership, 6. Planning, 7. Support, 8. Operational, 9. Performance Evaluation, and 10. Improvement.
ISO 21001: 2018 will last until June, with stages to get the ISO 21001 certificate: 2018, which can support Accreditation Documents within the USU Postgraduate School.
