The Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program (PSL Study Program) held an online ROADSHOW event. This event was held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. The Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program (PSL Study Program) is a multidisciplinary academic education program under the auspices of the USU Postgraduate School (SPs). The SPs USU Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program aims to educate prospective academics, researchers, and practitioners who are independent and creative and have academic abilities in applying, developing, and/or enriching the repertoire of science, technology, and/or art as well as disseminating and seeking its use to improve people's lives and enrich national culture related to natural resources and the environment. Currently, new student admissions are underway in the SPs USU environment, including the USU Master and Doctoral Programs in Natural Resources and Environmental Management until July 1, 2022. To achieve the above objectives, it is necessary to have an overview of information related to the academic community, facilities, curriculum, and matters related to information in the USU Natural Resources and Environmental Management Master and Doctoral Study Program, which can be accessed or known directly by prospective students who are spread across various regions of Sumatra in particular and Indonesia in general.
This can be obtained through activities, one of which is the Roadshow from the SPs USU Master and Doctoral Study Program in Natural Resource and Environmental Management to multi-stakeholders from various government and private agencies to increase the number of new students both Masters and Doctoral in Natural Resource and Environmental Management SPs USU. Last year, a Roadshow was conducted by visiting Universitas Ibnu Sina di Batam dan Politeknik Kesehatan (Poltekkes) in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands. With technological advances, online roadshow activities can be carried out by inviting several agencies/institutions in the Sumatra region. One of the activities to promote the USU Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program is to conduct this online roadshow.
The existence of roadshow activities from the SPs USU Natural Resources and Environmental Management Master and Doctoral Study Program can be a medium for promoting the SPs USU Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program directly to multi stakeholders. In this online roadshow, we invite several agencies/institutions spread across Sumatra, especially North Sumatra and Aceh, such as government agencies, the private sector, NGOs, universities, and the general public who want to continue their studies in the SPs USU Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program. Roadshow material related to the master study program will be delivered by the secretary of the master study program, Mr. Dr. T Alief Aththorick, SSi., MSi, and roadshow material related to the doctoral study program will be delivered by the secretary of the doctoral study program Mr. Dr. Delvian SP, MP.
Through this roadshow, it is hoped that prospective master and doctoral students of the Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program will obtain complete information and an overview and clarity related to the master and doctoral programs of Natural Resources and Environmental Management of SPs USU before joining the Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program. We from the Natural Resources and Environmental Management Study Program, Postgraduate School (PSL SPS) USU, on this occasion, would like to thank the Director of the USU Postgraduate School (Prof. T Sabrina, Ph.D) for taking the time to open this roadshow event.
