The Master's Program in Management once again organized a Teaching Practitioner Program as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of learning through collaboration with industry. The program was held on August 18, 2023, in Classroom 108 of the Master of Management Study Program and was attended by Executive Class 36 students enrolled in the Business Management Capita Selecta course.
The program featured an industry practitioner from PT. Medan Sugar Industry (Sugar Refinery), who shared extensive professional experience in management and business. During the session, the practitioner provided valuable insights into business management strategies, professional practices, and the various challenges organizations face in today's dynamic and competitive business environment. The material was delivered through lectures, interactive discussions, and relevant case study analyses, allowing students to gain a practical understanding of how management concepts are applied in the workplace.
Through this program, students developed a more comprehensive understanding of the practical implementation of management theories in business. The interactive discussions also encouraged them to strengthen their critical and analytical thinking skills in addressing various managerial challenges. Furthermore, the program enabled students to connect the theories learned in the classroom with the current needs and challenges of the business and industrial sectors.
