The Master's Program in Management organized a Teaching Practitioner Program for the Business Management Capita Selecta course on October 18, 2024, in Classroom 108 of the Master's Program in Management. The program, attended by Regular Class 57 students, reflects the study program's commitment to enhancing the quality of learning through collaboration with industry while providing students with a more contextual and practice-oriented learning experience.

During the program, the Master's Program in Management invited Dr. Fikri Al-Haq Fachryana, S.TP., MM., MH., CLMP., CPSCM., CPM. as the teaching practitioner. With professional experience as the Main Branch Head of JNE and an active role as both an academic and practitioner in logistics management and Supply Chain Management, he shared valuable insights into organizational and business management, distribution strategies, supply chain management, and managerial decision-making in response to the challenges of business and technological developments. The session was delivered through presentations, interactive discussions, and case study analyses that reflected real management practices in industry.

The students enthusiastically participated in discussions with the teaching practitioner throughout the program. Through these interactive sessions, they gained valuable insights into the implementation of logistics management and Supply Chain Management in the courier and logistics industry, developed an understanding of distribution management strategies in complex business organizations, and learned to connect management theories studied in the classroom with real-world industrial practices. In addition, students gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by the logistics sector in responding to global competition and rapid technological advancement.

Through the Teaching Practitioner Program, the Master's Program in Management continues to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry in support of improving the quality of education. The program is expected to continue as a sustainable initiative that equips students with practical knowledge, professional competencies, and managerial skills needed to address the evolving challenges of the business world, particularly in the fields of logistics and supply chain management.
