The IBIOSDG 2025 Network Dinner at Adya Hotel Langkawi on Thursday, 27 November 2025, was enlivened by a vibrant Batak cultural performance presented by delegates from Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). Led by Prof. Rahmawaty, the group of students and alumni delivered traditional music and dance from North Sumatra with energy and enthusiasm.

The performance drew enthusiastic responses from conference participants representing multiple countries, with several guests even joining the dance. Prof. Rahmawaty noted that this cultural participation is part of ongoing academic diplomacy efforts and a meaningful initiative to introduce local wisdom to an international audience.

The showcase also strengthened inter-institutional networking and concluded the first day of the conference on a warm and collaborative note, aligning with the spirit of partnership promoted by IBIOSDG 2025.
